Brief / Runway is a platform to help guide new students at UAL: London College of Fashion, and I had to design engaging promotional materials for it.
Solution / The promotional material consisted of printed posters, leaflets and postcards to be given to students. The concept behind the visual identity was to re-brand the previous year’s design, using a variation of International Klein Blue as the main colour. The shapes convey the idea of a Runway, both in its physical form being a line and metaphorically being a journey the new students will take. Whilst following UAL brand guidelines, the cut in the typography represents movement and direction to further exaggerate the meaningful content.
