Brief / A personal project to observe and capture typography in the borough of Southwark using 35mm film.

This was part of a greater project observing typography surrounding us. At the time, this was my first attempt at film photography and greatly inspired me too shoot in film more as well as experimenting with colour film later on. Black and white film helps to highlight the contrast of the various typefaces within the environment and expresses the importance of type design and how it is used in physical spaces.}
